  2019 ALL-MEAC FIRST TEAM (COACHES): LB Rico Kennedy, r-Sr., Morgan State,...Kennedy earned his third consecutive All-MEAC selection and finished the season third in the MEAC in tackles with 105, averaging 8.8 per game, and he led the conference with 16.0 tackles for loss - 4.5 of which are sacks.   NOV 18 MEAC CO-OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Morgan State wide receiver Manasseh Bailey (WR, 6-1, 195, Sr., Capitol Heights, Md.) caught five passes for a game-high 177 yards and four touchdowns, including an 87-yard touchdown reception, in the Bears' 59-26 win over Virginia University of Lynchburg on Saturday.   DeAndre Harris threw for 317 yards and five touchdowns, Manasseh Bailey had 177 receiving yards and four scores, and Morgan State beat Virginia Lynchburg 59-26 on Saturday. Morgan State led 14-12 at the end of the first quarter but scored 22 unanswered points in the second for a 36-12 lead at the break. The Bears had passing touchdowns of 11, 17, 44, 48, and 87 yards. Wesley Wolfolk added 124 receiving yards and two TDs for Morgan State (3-8). He also threw for a touchdown in the first half to Bailey. Jabriel Johnson rushed for 124 yards and a TD and Joshua Chase added 100 yards and a score.

Morgan State has won two straight for the first time this season, including an upset of then-No. 14 North Carolina A&T, after opening with five straight losses. The Bears will conclude the season next Saturday on the road against Beltway-rival Howard. Sherman Brown passed for 239 yards with two touchdowns and one interception for Virginia Lynchburg (0-9), which was coming off a 58-7 loss against Southern.   DeAndre Harris passed for 218 yards and one touchdown and scored the game-winner on a keeper from the 1 as Morgan State upset North Carolina A&T for the second year in a row, 22-16 on Saturday. North Carolina A&T, No. 14 in the STATS FCS Top 25, never led during the game, but trailed just 16-13 through much of the fourth quarter. The loss put the Aggies (6-3, 4-2) in a three-team cluster with Bethune-Cookman and South Carolina State atop the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference. Florida A&M is unbeaten in league play, but ineligible for the title.

Harris guided Morgan State (2-8, 2-5) 91 yards in 13 plays, scoring from the 1 for the insurance TD with 3:27 left to play. N.C. A&T answered with a Noel Ruiz field goal and then recovered an onside kick at its own 46 with 1:20 remaining. But Kylil Carter threw three incompletions and was sacked by Rico Kennedy for a 7-yard loss, turning final possession over to the Bears. Manasseh Bailey caught a touchdown pass and had 118 yards, moving him into a fifth-place tie on Morgan State's career receiving list 1,802 yards. - AP College Football

Chase gained 116 yards rushing and Harris completed 11 of 19 passes for 161 yards in a homecoming win for Morgan State (1-5, 1-2 MEAC). Delaware State's Richard Harris had a career-high 151 yards rushing on 21 carries and Hornets sophomore linebacker Brooks Parker had 12 tackles, seven solo.
